TurnLeaf goes into fifth play!
September 23, 2007
The telecom world talks about “triple play” when they mean the bundling of telephony, internet and television services. They use the term “quad play” when mobile communications is added to the package.
Our newest customer (see previous posting) took a clue from the 80’s English ska band Madness and goes “one step beyond”: they’re called “fifthplay“.
Fifthplay, a spin-off of Niko, wants to improve the life of people by enabling their global market partners to deploy aggregated e-services into the home. Fifthplay’s initial focus areas are: home safety and security, personal wellness diagnostics, household management and integrated real-estate projects.
TurnLeaf goes back to work
September 2, 2007
After a great summer vacation, it’s time for the kids to go back to school.
And for me, this means it’s time to go back to work.
Tomorrow, I will kick-off with a marketing consulting job for a new client, a Flemish startup-up company which is developing innovative new products and services in the field of “the connected home”.
Can’t divulge yet which company it is, but stay tuned…
