TurnLeaf’s newest customer is the Benelux regional office of BITO Storage Systems, based in Aartselaar, Belgium.

BITO Storage Systems is a European market-leading manufacturer of storage and order picking systems. BITO develops products such as shelving and racking, plastic bins and containers, and warehousing equipment. BITO storage and order picking systems are used in all industry sectors. BITO is the short name for Bittmann Oberstein, combining the founder’s name and place of origin in Germany.

TurnLeaf’s assignment at BITO is to define a strategy and implementation plan for an improved go-to-market approach. This involves CRM, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Advertising (SEA, Google AdWords), advertising in B2B trade publications, and Press & Public Relations campaigns.

TurnLeaf was also tasked with identifying suitable 3rd party partners to execute each of these marketing components.

Fifthplay company press release extract

Fifthplay has acquired a majority stake in Vitalsys, the Belgian market leader in telemedicine. The company specialises in the integration of telemedicine solutions for various applications, including telemonitoring. These applications enable care providers to monitor patients remotely, whether they are at home or on the move.

Telemonitoring is particularly relevant in the context of the proportional rise in our ageing population. The European Union has made telemonitoring in the healthcare sector one of its top priorities for 2009-2010. With this in mind, Vitalsys has developed VitalCare, an infrastructure enabling users to practice telemedicine anywhere in Europe. VitalCare is used by hospitals, medical support and insurance companies, as well as by pharmaceutical companies. In addition, Vitalsys is a distributor of professional medical equipment.

“Vitalsys constitutes an attractive addition to our service portfolio”, said Kris van Daele, CEO of fifthplay.

Fifthplay is a Belgian high-tech company and developer of a service platform providing Internet access for ’smart homes’ to applications and services supplied by partners in the care sector, comfort and energy sectors.

Just Software is a Belgian developer of accounting and order administration software, available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux platforms.

TurnLeaf’s initial assignment was to educate Just Software’s general manager and in-house website developer about:

  • how to optimize the company website for great performance in Google’s search engine ranking
  • how to implement cost-effective Google AdWords search engine advertising campaigns

Just Software will apply these “search engine optimization” (SEO) techniques during the development of a new version of their website. Meanwhile, they will roll-out ”search engine advertising” (SEA) campaigns.
