Nadat fifthplay in januari 2009 een meerderheidsparticipatie nam in Vitalsys, bundelen fifthplay, Vitalsys en Microsoft nu de krachten in het domein van de gezondheidszorg. Na de introductie van Microsoft HealthVault op de Amerikaanse markt, hebben fifthplay, Vitalsys en Microsoft de handen in elkaar geslagen om ook in Europa concrete e-health oplossingen te ontwikkelen.
Microsoft HealthVault wil mensen helpen om hun gezondheidsinformatie beter te beheren. Het is een systeem om medische informatie te bewaren en te delen. Mensen kunnen hiermee online medische informatie bijhouden over zichzelf.

Nomadesk selects TurnLeaf as marketing consultant

Nomadesk has selected TurnLeaf as their marketing strategy and execution consultant.
Aventiv, based in Belgium, is an ICT start-up company which develops “Nomadesk“, a groupware software which enables easy and secure document sharing for teams, wherever they are.
Paul Van Cotthem, managing partner at TurnLeaf and former Senior Vice-President Residential Markets at Telenet, will assist Aventiv in the following areas:
- product marketing: enhance product definition, positioning and usability
- market development: expand go-to-market scope from local to global markets
- channel development: define direct and indirect sales channel strategy
- marketing communications: redesign web site, search engine marketing and communication materials
At a press briefing yesterday, Aventiv CEO Filip Tack announced that Flemish venture capital firm GIMV invested 3 million euro in his company. He also announced that Bruno Segers, former General Manager at Microsoft Belgium, was appointed as Chairman.
